Brian Fearnett Helping You
Having worked my way through a systems upgrade I am now in a position to communicate with you again.
You may find this article interesting in that it attempts to give some clarity to the concept of Cloud Computing which is one of the major future technology trends alongside the mobile revolution, the socialising of enterprise applications and Software as a Service.
I have also included a link to my friend Debbie Mayo's website. Debbie is a mine of information as a leading expert in Internet and email marketing. You may find a quick look at her website very productive. I have included one her productivity tips, which I use, below.
Cloud Computing
This new computing concept has become hard to define so the link below is an article from Businessweek which attempts to guide you through the current thinking. There is certainly a case to say that this is the future as more and more large corporates start to explore the concept as a solution for the delivery of business applications.

Clever ideas that will save you time!
Automatically colour code some of your emails.
We know how important it is to save time; it is our most expensive and greatest commodity!
Do you scan your Inbox looking for emails from specific people or specific subjects? Would you like to quickly see which emails are of lower importance (such as you being Cc'd or Bcc'd in on the email)? Would you like emails from your loved ones to stand out? Then colour coding is right up your alley!
HOW DO I COLOUR CODE EMAILS FROM A SPECIFIC PERSON?
1. In the Inbox, select an email from someone important, such as your hubby, wife, boss or your mum.
2. On the Tools menu, click Organize to display the Organize pane.
3. In the left portion of the Organize pane, click Using Colors.
4. In the first bulleted item, you should see the word "From" and the name of the person who sent you the email.
5. Then you should see the word "In" and a drop-down list box. Click the arrow to select a colour (or you can keep the default colour).
6. Click Apply Color.
7. All of the emails in your Inbox from this person should now be colour coded with the colour you selected.
8. Take a look at the other colour options available in the Organize pane. Do you see how you could easily distinguish the emails that were sent only to you?
HOW DO I TURN OFF COLOUR CODING?
1. In the upper-right corner of the Organize pane, click Automatic Formatting (see Figure 6). Note: this button is available only when Using Colors is selected in the left portion of the Organize pane.
2. In the Automatic Formatting dialogue box, in the list of rules, select the one that says "Mail" received from important person (where important person is the name of the person who sent you the email you selected).
3. Clear the check box for the rule and click OK. Your emails should return to their original state (that is, not colour coded).
